The Anchors & Irons Invitational
Spirits of Service: The Hallowed Muster
Friday, October 30, 2026 | Cove Cay Golf Club
A Legacy of Valor. A Mission of Mercy.
The Jackson Copeland Foundation (JCF) invites you to the inaugural Anchors & Irons Invitational. Set against the waterfront backdrop of Old Tampa Bay at Cove Cay Golf Club, one of the area’s most breathtaking waterfront par-70 courses. This isn’t just a golf tournament—it’s a unified muster of the Tampa Bay community to support leukemia warriors and honor those who serve!
Join us on the eve of Halloween as we bridge the gap between the spirits of the season and the unbreakable spirit of our five military branches leading up to Veteran’s Day!
The “Wait-Free” Scramble
We are strictly limiting the field to 72 players (18 teams). By executing a True Shotgun Start—with exactly one foursome per hole—we have eliminated the “bottlenecking” of traditional golf scrambles. No waiting on the tees. No five-hour slogs. Just a premium, fast-paced afternoon of golf for a high-impact cause.
The 13:00 (1:00 PM) Launch Timeline
We’ve timed our maneuver to perfectly capture the “Golden Hour” on the bay.
-
12:00 PM | The Muster Hour: Arrive at the clubhouse for registration. This is your time to fuel up with a Gourmet Boxed Lunch, join the Marrow Registry Drive, and connect with representatives from all five branches of our military.
**T0 Sponsor a Military Service or Veteran Team, see our Sponsorship Options below!**
-
12:45 PM | Pre-Round Briefing: A unified moment of silence and a mission briefing.
-
1:00 PM | THE SHOTGUN: 18 teams. 18 holes. Zero waiting.
-
5:30 PM | Return to Port: Golf concludes. The Sunset Social begins immediately on the Bayview Patio.
-
6:30 PM | The Sunset Salute: As the sun dips over Old Tampa Bay (6:48 PM), we gather for a unified, high-impact toast to our veterans and those currently fighting the battle against leukemia.
-
7:00 PM | The After-Action Report: A full-service catered dinner and awards ceremony in the Garden View Room.
Spirits of Service: The Invitational Experience
We’ve integrated the energy of Halloween weekend with the camraderit (and friendly competition) of the five branches:
- Uniform of the Day: In the spirit of the season, we encourage all participants to sport their most creative “Spirits of Service” ensemble. From vintage flight suits and dress whites to “spookified” five-branch gear, prizes for the best individual and team outfits will be awarded during the After-Action Social.
- The Honor Guard: On-course tributes and trivia honoring the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.
- Tactical Trick or Treats: Forget standard mulligans. Purchase a “Sea Bag” at registration—some bags contain “Treats” (Mulligans), while others contain “Tricks”! You might want to buy two or three to be safe!
- The Marrow Drive: We aren’t just raising money; we are saving lives. A quick 2-minute swab at registration enters you into the national marrow donor registry—a simple act that could provide the “Cure” for a patient in need.
The Mission: Stability & Research
Your presence on the green directly funds JCF Stability Grants. These funds go to families to keep the lights on, the rent paid, and the gas tank full while a loved one undergoes leukemia treatment.
We play for the warriors. We play for the cure. We play because #JacksonWouldGo.
Secure Your Post:
Spaces are strictly limited to 72 players to maintain the “Wait-Free” integrity of the invitational.
